i got their CD and had it signed by those two that you've mentioned for the start(hopefully) of my skramz collection, i just don't sense the reason why you hate them so much.

xcult_classicx 10-06-2007 12:40 PM

haha, apparently you don't get the fact that i'm one of TAOBAI's vocalists and i was in manila last May 22.

yeah, that's me. and that other dude on the TAOBAI EP, that's me too. we recorded that thing 2 days after the show at our "secret location". when did you watch us? if you saw the john lennon lookalike on vocals, that's perri. our new vocalist. if only i didn't have too much work this october, i would've seriously wanted to play a show with the full lineup. oh well, that's what sucks about DC (haha, DC Philippines.)

xcult_classicx 10-06-2007 12:41 PM

oh yeah, sometimes tomi (the vocalist that used to look like cousin it) and francis c. (the francis on guitar) post here.

yup, i'm from davao and yes, i'm in mike ****'s group. i haven't been doing much for TAOBAI lately since i'm back to working on my own band, but i'm still a member nonetheless. people still royally hate me for playing in Capulette though, lulz.

why? was that band a bad band for your scene? sorry i am not updated w/ this kind of things...

------
P.S. i saw your band's (capulette) youtube vid covering "angryson" and it was good...

xcult_classicx 10-10-2007 07:10 AM

it basically shoved a fat one up people's asses that we were a band that had two elitist asses who just found out what emo was and decided to start a band to rub it in and piss people off.

at least Caitlyn Bailey had a good start, we're looking forward to actually get stuff done

No, but I use to talk to Justin, Brian and Donny fairly regularly on AIM. Now I only really talk to Brian.

Meg 11-13-2007 02:11 PM

I know Donny a little bit, he knows my brother, I've met him a few times.

I know both Donny and Justin. Hell, I'm best friends with Justin's new band, Alessa. Donny is so awesome though, he's in a doom band:

MySpace.com - Our Legs Have Become Roots - Boston, Massachusetts - Experimental / Psychedelic / Metal - www.myspace.com/olhbr

its pretty good. SDRP, on the other hand, was sort of lame. They did have some kickass recordings of stuff that was never released, but Carpe Diem Is Dead I thought was a pretty sub-par release.

sleepy jack 11-13-2007 10:52 PM

I only really follow Brian's band footprints, though I prefer the original demos over the new stuff they put up. Whatever happened to A Black Steed Named Dead? They like, removed their myspace.

I saw Donnys new band a few months ago, they were playing their second or third show. I really liked them, definetly something you can get into.

Comadre
L'antietam
Occam's Razor
Off Minor
Shotmaker
Usurp Synapse
Jenny Piccolo
Jerome's Dream
