The aim of the thread is to post a top ten...

Not, " hey there, come here and post ten bands here that no one else here knows about here"

And from your list you were just a few bands away from an attempt at a non-conformist fool.

Can't believe you even mentioned minor threat...

Your top ten favorites. "WHO IS THE GREATEST OF X GENRE" lists are so boring.

It's not cassius' fault that he finds to lesser known bands more appealing.

It's "apoplexy", duder. And cassius's list wasn't obscure in the least, while on the other hand yours featured bands that someone who'd only been listening to screamo/hardcore for a week would know.

Yeah, Apoplexy, my bad...I think I know a good bit of music, dsi.

You guys are bitching for nothing...if I had put stuff like alesana or something I would understand, the critique makes no sense.

I was just joking, har har har. I think the only bands you listed I don't listen to at all are mewithoutyou and Moss Icon. I was just joking and saying it kind of looked like a so-called Beginners List.
The only bands I listed that might be considered "obscure" (i.e. not as well known compared to the others) are SSRE, Optimus Prime, and Lion. I mean, a lot of people still know these bands, but they're small compared to Daitro, La Quiete, et cetera.
