Get Up Kids are awesome, fall out boy are awesome, rites of spring are AMAZING,BUT, i really can't stand jets to brazil...idk wut it is, the lead singer's voice is real annoying for me... idk just my opinion

Get up kids, dashboard, further seemas forever, straylight run, starting line, thrice, midtown, something corporate, saves the day

thatz what im listenin ta now... albeit i juss got into this myself... i kno most of these are pretty well accepted amongst us, anyone got any bands to contribute that r a lil less known???

I just just read this, forgive my late reply.... I would recommend Recover (killrecover.com), Everlea (everlea.com), and let's say, oh, Cursive (cursive.com? that may be wrong).

The closest band to emo that i can think of that i would actually listen to is Scared of Chaka..not sure if they are considered an emo band, but thats as emo as i like.
