if you guys are interested, i could contribute a few drum tracks. i sorta make some myself on my PC. i know you guys basically do midtempo stuff, but if you're interested in trying faster stuff out, i might be able to help.

we use a combination of native battery/fruity loops with basically customized drumbeat files so they sound more realistic. we used to do really fast stuff, most of our songs were under a minute. that got old really quick, and we got sick of programming in different time sigs, since it takes forever, so we decided to stick with the same time sig throughout songs. that will be different on the new songs. also, we will most likely have a real drummer for the new tracks, or at least they'll be recorded using live drums.

maybe somewhere. if i can find them and if i'm not too ashamed of them, i might share them. basically, it was fast paced folk punk with screaming. now that i think about it, it was really stupid.

were your fast paced songs in the vain of your acoustic demos? I thought those were actually pretty cool.

sort of, yeah. but waaaay worse. we used to have a few of them up at the same time as those acoustic ones, so you might remember them. we actually wrote a whole cd of like 8 tracks, but scrapped the idea when we got sick of how terrible they were.

also, i like how so many people thought we were just an acoustic screamo band for forever. those are really the only 4 acoustic songs we ever did, we wrote/recorded them in a couple of hours just out of boredom, yet people seem to enjoy those more than anything else. those acoustic songs were junk, i wish people would realize that.

bu-bumpin' it
are you guys going on tour with men as trees this summer?
They're making a few stops by us, so we're gonna try to jump on a show with them and Cassettes.

we talk about it with them a lot, but everytime i seriously bring it up, they just skirt the issue, so i assume its a no-go. i don't think i could anyhow, i have work and everything, and to be honest, ariadne's thread just isn't serious enough to really even be a band, let alone tour.
