Default "I would set myself on fire for you" are dead

"Dear Friends,
It is with heavy hearts that we announce that as of July 2007 we are no longer a band. It has been an honor and a privilege to be able to do what we love for so long. You will never know how much we love and appreciate every person that has set up a show, let us sleep on their floor, said kind words to us and supported us in any way - you will be nestled softly in our hearts forever. We still have a 7" that will (hopefully) be released in the near future. Again, thank you for everything.

Love,
I Would Set Myself On Fire For You"

2007 seems to be an bad year for many good musicians...Hot Cross quit, Louise Cyphre are going to quit, now I would set myself on fire for you...Patrick Wolf is going to play his last concert at the end of this year, too. I don't want all of my favorite Bands and Artists to be dead. :'(

All in one week:

Hot Cross
Seeing Means More
Me And Him Call It Us
I Would Set Myself On Fire For You
Louise Cyphre

But ummm, I Would made this announcement nearly the exact time as my girlfriend broke up with me, AND i was/am wearing their shirt as that all happened....

R.I.P. to my favorite band. They released, hands down, best album of 2006 (i.m.o.), and what I would say to be a masterpiece of an album.

Huh... well that sucks mightily.
For a primarily CTTS/Portrait focused band, they wrote some worthy epics.

OH MY MOTHER****ING GOD!!!!!!
**** **** **** **** ****.

This is un****ingmother****ing believable I swear to ****ing God.

Hot Cross is completely whatever, but for I Would etc. to break up before I got to see them????????????

Luck can be so ****ing *** sometimes, what a bitch.

I swear this is the lamest **** to happen in a long time; they posted this as a bulletin on myspace and I just started swearing.
Sometimes swearing is appropriate.

Goddamn.

And to you, although this band also claimed the title of being my favourite band, I'm very sorry about your losses.
