Default The Great Redneck Hope

Im a huge fan of them, sucks they broke up and three of them are in some stupid metalcore breakdown band. www.myspace.com/sawedoff anyways, I know they have a split with bleeding kansas, would anyone happen to have that? Behold the **** Thunder! is so spastically awesome. up until recently I didnt know of any bands that could have influenced them....then I found Usurp Synapse. It sucks Usurp has such bad sound quality on their recordings.

I like The Great Redneck Hope the sad part is that the songs are way to short....I wish they were longer.

yea haha, I actually look at that as a positive, yea BTFT has 11 songs in under 9 minutes I think lol. I can listen to that album over and over again though. I love bands that play really short songs that are packed with energy and then just stop, like Orchid, or the Locust.

I've heard of them and heard a couple of their songs, and they seemed pretty cool. But from what I've heard of them they seem like one of those bands where most of their songs sound the exact same. Is that true? I guess I'll just have to check them out and find out.

I thought the same thing at first, but like after a few listens, each one sounds totally different

I got bored with them too fast, but it's been at least a year since I've actually listened to them.

I remember when Nova and b-more kids were fucking stoked as shit over breakdown bands haha.

I'm pretty meh about this band though. Saw em open for genghis tron and wasn't too impressed with the live show.

how long ago/where did they play? That would have been awesome to see. I remember that too haha, I think people in bmore are still stoked over breakdown bands haha. Whenever my friends band plays a show, all of the other local bands on the bill are all breakdown bands. It gets really annoying.

They played DC. I think it was last year or the one before. Nova is definetly worse than b-more though as far as the mosh kids haha. I haven't been to one of those shows in almost 2 years. I bet it's still the same just now they listen to deathcore.
