yeah, its on that split. the split is ok, but i think btft is definitely my favorite. i think that this band has changed quite a bit, their sound on "why humans think computers can't think" is quite different from their last stuff. "'splosion" is a really solid album as well.

and sawed off is pretty terrible.

yea btft is my favorite as well, best recording quality, best instrumentation, best vocals. They were definitely on top of their game then and then the bassist left and the band stopped touring and stopped giving a crap about coming out with new material even though they were supposed to have a split with The Postoffice Girls 2 years ago. Yea Why Humans Think Computers Can't is way different, I guess they were trying to find their sound and Bradley was trying to find his voice because his vocals on that are horrible haha and the guitar is pretty much generic metalcore even though they did have some pretty funny song names like always.

I agree that Sawed Off is terrible, ugh, I left a comment on the hopes myspace about how generically metalcore it was and they deleted it lol. Sawed off kind of fell apart a little while ago because the hope drummer dan that was in it quit and a guitarist quit. If dan left the band, Im kind of thinking he doesnt really want to play in the hope anymore either so I have a feeling they're pretty much altogether dead now =(.

yeah, i figured once their bassist left they were for the most part finished unless they found a replacement. seeing as those guys are the strangest dudes i have ever met, i figured it would never work out. and it hasn't. too bad, because they write some really intense tunes.

dude when/how did you meet them?, I talked to jeremy and the vocalist a while back when they were saying they were recording a split with a band soon, that being the post office gals that never actually was finished considering both bands went on hiatus for them most part

I saw them play here in Lansing with the Post Office Gals a few years ago. It was probably their last tour before they ended up going on hiatus. It was a sick show. In fact, this set of popular pictures of them is from that show:

Unfortunately, I thought the Post Office Gals were a horrendous band.
