wtf? Why doesn't he scream like that for the Fall of Troy?

I've known about The Hills Have Eyes for awhile now, but never checked them out. Probably because I'm an idiot. Good ****.

Yeah they broke up though and I think they only made those 3 songs.

ctts' vox exude as much emotion as saetia's while maintaining decipherability. what's the use in having great lyrics--as screamo does--without being able to hear them? i personally don't want to dig out an album booklet to follow along.

I think the point of putting great lyrics on a screamo album is that it's medium of release. It obviously doesn't mean much when it comes to the music but I guess for someone who likes to write why not do it well and put it out there. It also makes for a nice read of the inserts.

I concur with swim.
It also helps if you have the ability to decipher them.

i definitely think their power comes from their intensity, but i think it would be a shame if ctts vox were incoherent like saetia's (screamed) are.

It's a medium of expression, man!
If Saetia's sounded clean, it really wouldn't be the same.
Besides, a lot of Saetia's lyrics are decipherable without a book, they're just high-pitched.

well, the dude from Hassan I Sabbah sounded french on first listen, then i found out their singer was american. he's still powerful as **** though, sometimes, it's like that gift of tongues thing at those Christian meetings, you don't know what the **** they mean, but if one thing's for sure, it's that they mean it.
