my personal faves
I Would Set Myself on Fire For You and Burning Airlines.... In fact, Burning Airlines takes it. They are lyrically just as good as I Would Set Myself on Fire For You, and musically just as amazing, vocally they are awesome. |

The socio-active punk demograph have every right in my eyes to call themselves punks considering the term is derived more from the lifestyle/ethics than the music's dynamics. Aside that, but the word punk was initially a derogative (and still is depending on how old fashioned you are). Emo is derived from Emotional (or in the early years, Emotional Hardcore), which would seem to imply that they... emote more? Is being more introspective than the next guy equivalent to punks being rebellious? Labels for the sake of labeling is a little pretentious, no?
