You didn't ruin Angry Son, I'm impressed well except for the fact that it's a bad mix and once it gets to the heavier part all you can hear is drums but, nonetheless. And as far as vocals go they're pretty good.

Why does every emo band involve screaming these days?

frankly, i dunno, personally, it's the best way i can use my voice because my singing sounds too out of place.

^^^ almost every emo band since 1994 has screaming.

though we wouldnt call ourselves emo. we just play music we love.we put hardcore/screamo/emo on myspace because we couldnt find any other genres that was in the list that could best describe us.

im glad some of you guys like our sound. when we just finished recording the 2 songs (there were 3 actually. the third one was disappointing), we thought "oh this sounds like crap" or "oh i made a mistake here" and even cult_classic said to me once "grah my voice sucks".

I'm not saying it's bad or anything but you could do some much more and be a lot more original (this is my jaded, old hardcore loving opinion on things).

What I'm saying is I wish more young bands sounded or took influence from some band like Void instead of some band like Rites of Spring.

^^ trust me. xcult_classicx listens to converge, discordance axis, burzum, ion dissonance and a lot more influences in his vocal styles

i dont limit myself to emo. i also listen to a lot of blues and classic rock. mainly led zeppelin and then some.

were a young band. so were still walking towards "originality". :P its barely been a year since weve formed. and i think almost all bands started out this way.

oh yeah since the band is still a work in progress towards its sound, any ideas are open since we could practically listen to anything. but, to quote city of caterpillar:

"its hard to please everyone, alright?"

once we put out new stuff, you guys will be among the first to hear it. :P
