I know my band is lame, but I give out everything...I mean we spent hours upon hours handcrafting our demos and we gave those to everyone for free. I just want people to hear our stuff, I don't want people to feel guilt about downloading it, because as long as people are listening, I have no problems. It seems there are some folks in the DIY hardcore scene who still grapple with this problem, and I can't imagine why.

I definitely agree, with DIY music, its hard to get your name out there without the help of your fans sharing it with other people. Whatever music I'm totally into that I download, I definitely will buy it. But I would have never known about it if it werent for the awesome people that share what theyre into. I guess I do understand what hes coming from with just checking out the myspace but some of the songs on band's myspaces dont always encapsulate what a band sounds like. I know a lot of band's off the top of my head where I like the songs not on their myspace a hell of a lot more.
