thanks! we're super excited about the full-length. hopefully we'll have it written/recorded by mid may before a projected tour in july. we're two songs away from having this thing written.

you should come out to one of the 7" release shows i might make something special for the people who pick up the record at the show. regardless, it'll be available for ordering may 11th!

the band we're doing the split with; the breathing is really good too. scope them out if you like lofi folkish stuff. not his best stuff but a really good idea of what he does.

you can listen to it @ myspace.com/wolverinesrock
and you can buy the 7" when it comes out.
it's three bucks, that's rather cheap.

i dig it..

and as far as downloading...it doesn't even come close to holding the vinyl in your hand....or a cd for that matter....i think it will help you get your name out there..my old drummer tries to sell our cd on myspace...and nobody buys it...so i give it to people for free and we get good response....of course...i also put myself in debt recording stuff....So there is an argument for both sides of that coin...oh and

wolverines come to Socal.

i'll just say it is more beneficial for a band if people pick up the release than downloading it on our level. we don't see the benefit of 'our name being out there' unless we tour the us. and we aren't doing that.
so kids pumping our jams is great, we are thankful that people like it, but unless everyone drives to nc to see us play there is no benefit. also we sell music so we can do things like tour, or get merch, etc. so it is hindering that as well. once again, a band on our level.
go download the new nas album, he's not hurtin' (and it's great).
**plus the myspace has songs that are very easy to listen to, which is why we have myspace, so that it can 'get our name out' for whoever wants to hear us.
on another note, i download plenty of things and not to make up for it, but i buy everything i can from smaller bands if they have something for sale. i know that it does make a big difference. otherwise we'll all just quit putting out cds or records and just make digital versions with albumart.jpgs attached. so everyone can have at.

Anyway we're having our 7" release show in greensboro on the 11th
and at a house in greenville on the 12th. i'm very excited.

we'll be in va and dc in june.

and touring in july. get at it.

i hear you....it's gas money....and believe me, i like you always support bands that are on an indie level like that...in the end i guess it's not fair to anyone, but the reality is, sharing isn't going to stop anytime soon..so roll with it the best you can. for instance, i didn't DL your stuff....but chances are i never even would have heard of your band if someone had not tried to share it. now i know about you so if you were in town or something, i could come out and support. hope i don't sound like a jerk, cause i do sometimes....i actually dig the band and what you guys are doing.
