City Of Caterpillar
Well aside from clearly being the best screamo band ever (which isn't saying much when you ****ing look what the scene ****ing came to) it also has the best-fitting name for a band ever. I'm curious about the name. Does anyone know if it was actually related to anything or referencing something or just a flight of fancy?

i remember when I was first getting into screamo and I saw this bands name, I thought it was the most awesome name ever and I thought it would be something akin to the locust because of the insect methodology. They're really good but Im not really feeling the post rock elements of their music that much anymore, if they were just a straightforward noise/loud band, I would love them to pieces. I find myself fastforwarding through all of the repetitive long and drawn out parts to the passionate screams and awesome riffs that make this band memorable.

I love this band, although I do love CTTS as well. This band more, however.
One of the songs on their album is just unbelievable, one of the best i've heard. Can't remember the name though, it's been so long. Need to give this band a listen again, soonish. |
