As for pg. 99...I agree with some of the recent comments. They never did much for me, but I've only heard Document #5.

listen to doc 8. it will change your life.

driving spain up a wall!!!!!

This band is brilliant! It's been a while since I last listened to them, but S/T drove me crazy.

Is there any other studio album? or just that live demo?

CAPTAIN CAVEMAN 01-05-2010 07:17 PM

the s/t is their only full length but they also have some songs on a split ep with pg.99.

bardonodude 01-05-2010 09:41 PM

dont forget their demo/live e.p. along with their split with system 2600. one of my favorite songs by them is off of that split. they do a version of the two songs off the pg. 99 split as one song on the demo/live e.p. that I like a lot. Ive been able to get into coc a lot more than I have ever been into pg. 99.

Beware of acronyms :P lol

drakey 01-06-2010 02:44 AM

Thanks a lot!

I'll try to find that stuff!

City of Caterpillar is my favourite band in this genre, every song is a gem. btw, there used to be a video from a show on YouTube, called City of Caterpillar @ AllBooks. this was sooo good and I never ripped it before it was removed by the user. if anyone have this video and can upload it somewhere, it definitely would be appreciated.

Hm, well, I listened. and I think they're pretty good, but have room for improvement - like most bands :)

Hahahaha

Also, this band is amazing. I haven't had a chance to find any stuff by pg.99 other than the split. Do they have any full-lengths and miscellaneous EPs?

yeah they have like 14 other documents you can sink your teeth into

Mondo Bungle 09-18-2011 11:57 PM

This band is so effing good. The s/t is amazingly done.

Everyone check out Envy if you like CoC.

Yep, the S/T would push for a place in my general favourite albums list, let alone a Screamo one. I've always thought this, Pg.99 - Document #8 and Gospel - The Moon is a Dead World, just stand above the rest.

Re-listening to the self titled. Such great musicianship in the guitar melodies and drumming.
The vocals are strong and consistent too, definitely a pinnacle in the screamo genre.

What's with the lack of love for 'A Heart-Filled Reaction To Dissatisfaction'?

14232949 05-29-2012 11:28 AM

The second track on their self titled?

HowLongIstheNight 05-31-2012 09:00 AM

^Yeah.

14232949 05-31-2012 11:00 AM

Wasn't aware there was a strong hate contingent for that track. What do you mean?

HowLongIstheNight 05-31-2012 01:28 PM

^Oh, no, nothing like that, I just haven't seen it mentioned.

City of Caterpillar seem to be an exceptional band because when I landed on this 60-post thread, it was buried in a page where the average number of replies to each thread was about zero, rising occasionally to one.
Six years after the last post, I wonder if this band still generates enthusiasm.

I just played the first thing that came up on Youtube. Sounds like Elphenor would be right on that.

Mondo Bungle 02-25-2018 03:01 PM

good one

Lisnaholic 02-25-2018 08:00 PM

To judge by the YouTube comments under, this one is not typical of their style, which is prob why I quite like it. :D

Tristan_Geoff 02-25-2018 09:36 PM

I've got this album on vinyl it ripppsss

stumbleine 01-22-2019 02:55 AM
