Straight Edge is quite lame these days, too many bandwagon kids. I'm sure there's still some people who get into it for the right reasons.

Straight edge is lame? Maybe claiming edge/bragging about it is lame, but the concept isn't. Besides, I think bragging about doing drugs and alcohol is far lamer. And who does drugs/doesn't brag about it in some way?

So I drank a beer last night with my dinner. I WAS SO FUUUUCKED UP!

There are a lot of bandwagon kids, who will break Edge as soon as they're twenty-one (and were never really Edge to begin with), but straight-edge most certainly is not lame. What's lame about disciplining yourself and keeping your body healthy and your mind pure?

Personally if a guy tells me hes keeping his body healthy and mind pure, I have more respect for him then a guy who says hes doing it because hes straight edge. It seems like such an excuse lately, like 3 kids at my school are edge (none of which even know who minor threat is) and they're like 14 and 16 its so lame.
