Well I'm glad that you've found a forum where you can connect with others!
I apologize, what I meant to say was that you're succeeding in making others envious of yourself. As for other "emo fans", I don't think there are too many people on here that had actual interaction with the mid-90s emo scene. I'm guessing...stackable corpse, CaptainSuck, figurehead, wrestlewithjimmy, and bloodorflies. That's probably pretty wrong, but whatever. |

Cheers mate.
I'm always complaining about how crap the scene is in Oxford but I did miss Funeral Diner when they played here and Daughters played last month which was news to me. They supported some band called The Fall Of Troy, who I have never heard of before. I do miss the whole experience of seeing bands playing in the States. When In The States I saw so many bands play in Basements, Hallways/Living rooms of peoples houses, even church halls. That doesn't seem to happen over here very often - most bands seem to play pubs and clubs with 5 ft stages. You North American guys don't know how lucky you are to get to see real DIY hardcore shows. Anyway, wasn't this post about Moss Icon? |

My parents divorced. My dad moved back to The States and I went with him. My mum stayed here in The U.K. A few years back I started to miss all my friends and family and thought it would be best to move back out here. So here I am....cold, wet, miserable, my teeth have turned bad, Mary Poppins is on TV everynight, drinking tea all day, watching soccer hooligans smashing up the town I live in, and watching Tony Blair trying to wash the sh*t off his tongue from when he had it so far up Bush's ass. And do you know what? I don't miss The States at all! (apart from the gigs of course!)
