Indian Summer
The early 90's is my favorite era of emo and Indian Summer is one of the best bands to have come out of it. Their split album with Embassy is my favorite. Check it out mofos.

I don't like this band at all.
Reflections on Milkweed is like...nothing. It's just some kid mumbling into a microphone. |

Yeah, towards the end it gets better, but I find myself only enjoying like, the last 45 seconds of most Indian Summer songs. They aren't terrible, but they just take a while to pick up. (by a while I mean the latter part of their songs) leaving you about 30-45 seconds of enjoyability each song. Naamean?

Yeah I knoww, its kind of like when you listen to it. After you're done, it feels like you've been listening to them for along time, when really it was just a couple of songs. Still good though

This band blow my mind. Orchard and Angry Son are too good to be real.

I find that you need to have an acquired taste to really appreciate Indian Summer. They're ok I guess but the only time I cnan eevr really get into their stuff is when I'm sleepy or something.
I much prefer Envy to them. I think I like Sugar Pill the most by them. Or maybe it was called something else. Oh well, it'll come to me Peace |
I find the comparison to Envy kind of funny. I just wouldn't have thought have putting them together. I think to enjoy them for the first time you should listen to other early 90's prior. To me they almost have an emo/indie feel.
