i always liked an anthology of dead ends.

Start with An anthology of dead ends.
It's the shortest and the easiest to get into. Every song on it is just awsome just like in We are the romans. But I consider the Romans is quite more hard to understand. Enjoy! |
No love for American Nervoso? It's, like, what started it all..to me it was their prime (no offense to their later albums - I think they're all in the range of good to excellent)

Don't get me wrong, I love American Nervoso...but the Anthology and the Romans have an evolved treatment of that new genre to come. And the tunes itself sounds better to my BRAIN; I started to get A's at Maths since I listen to Botch, haha!
But anyway, I think American Nervoso didn't really started it, they have a couple splits recorded before that. Being one the Botch & nineironspitfire split CD (1997). But I think there were another one. Any clue? |
Loving We are the Romans right now. Gotta get into this band.

Yay Botch. I was gonna say something but then I looked back a page and realized I already said everything I wanted to say three years ago.
We Are The Romans is a really good album but it's not my favorite of theirs. American Nervoso is my favorite (as stated) and after that I default to An Anthology of Dead Ends because, even if it's not their best work, it sounds pleasant and comforting to me. Narrows is good but nothing else that these musicians did later appeals to me much. Viva Botch. |
