Honestly when I first heard them on comp. tracks I thought nothing of them, but I picked up one of there cds for $4 and fell in love. So its proboboly not a good idea to judge them on a couple songs.

Hot Water Music
Good. Sound ranges from melodic punk to indie emo inspired post-hardcoreish stuff.
www.purevolume.com/hotwatermusic Remedy is the best song on the purevolume. |

Poison rocks my socks. Can anyone tell me where these guys are from? I'm too lazy to google it, and Purevolume doesn't like this PC.
|
They have an awesome sound. No Division is my favorite album.
|
These guys are from Florida, Gainesville, Florida if I remember correctly. I've been listening to these guys for a while, ever sicne they toured with Thrice a few years ago. I like their stuff a lot, only got one album though but it's a great album.

|

HWM music is and always will be, the single greatest musical act in the history of rock and roll.
In my world at least. |
Hot Water Music
First off, yes there is already a thread on them, but it sucked and HWM deserves better.
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...watermusic.jpg So yeah, you can have just about anyone listen to this band and they'll find atleast a couple of tracks that they like. They take some post hardcore stuff and mix it with some melodic hardcore stuff, and in the end it sounds really great. I've only got one album of their' upped but here it is http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...neverender.jpg Hot Water Music- Never Ender 1. "Alachua" 2. "Never Ender" 3. "Tradition" 4. Thanks man.
I'm sure that between all the members, we could probably get almost all of HWM's albums upped. |
Hot Water Music > Other bands
This band has a lot to do with the type of person I am. Live your heart and never follow. I can upload any of thier albums if anyone would like. If someone has Live at The Hardback could they upload please? |
does anyone have the song "julie" by any chance?
|
I have their album "Caution". Great post hardcore music. I haven't decided which tracks are my favorites yet. Just an overall good album.
|
ehh theyre ok
|
Never heard of this band before. I wonder what they sound like.
|
They're a very good band, but I always found them to be less post-hardcore, and more punk based, all in all.
A Flight And A Crash is my favorite song by them. |
i wouldnt consider them post-hardcore but theyre pretty good...got a few good tunes

Also, I could give upping all of their albums a shot later on tonight when I get out of Class. |
i've heard some stuff from them and i like them, what's a good album to get from them?
|
Depends on what you're into.
If you're into the Fuel, Fugazi, Emocore kind of sound then Finding the Rhythms, Fuel for the Hate Game, Forever and Counting. If you're into more of a kind of Punk ala Epitaph radio friendly stuff that still rocks ****in' hard, then anything after that really. |
ok, i'll look into those, thanks
|
I'm uploading the whole Discog onto 4shared as we speak.
So, Hope you guys enjoy it. |
