i completely agree with what your saying.. but Straylight Run aren't mellow enough for me.. and not pop punk enough for me.. there some where in the middle.. but whenever that is i don't like it to much

well ok this is the only way i can explain it:

appleseeds cast first couple of albums were pop punk but mellow.. then low level owl albums were super mellow and almost had no pop punk in it at all.. it was just down right mellow music (good i like it like that aswell)

then there's alkaline trio, brand new, taking back sunday, the used, Moneen... etc... some are really pop punk, some have pop punk with a bit of mellowness to them.. BUT!.. Straylight run just well doesn't do it for me like those bands do.. its like somewhere between moneen, and taking back sunday.. just more mellow, and more well un intersting sounds.. to me!..
