If you like Cap'n Jazz, then you might like Gauge. Gauge was another indie band that greatly influenced their work. The two bands don't really sound alike, but you might like gauge. I forget which of their CDs was the good one. I had "One", which I think was their discography, but in my opinion it didn't sound too great.
