The only people that can legitly ignore what genre they're in are the bands that find them. End of a Year is sweet. Post these interviews please?

I'm pretty sure they're one of those bands that are extremely loyal to labeling themselves punk rock and refuse the screamo and any other label.

And Adam (amplific), dude, you rule in MMM. Did you really try out for CTTS?
nah, they told me i was in, had me start to move down, and then change their minds (after i gave up everything in life to go do it)

f that band

yikes thats not cool, I cant believe they would do that. did anyone else hear about how they almost lit justin pearson (bassist for the locust and owner of 31G records) house on fire by placing fireworks and a demo cd on his deck lol. Its in his bio on 31G's myspace. I agree that CTTS labels themselves as being punk. Ask them how they ever found out about Behead the Prophet! No Lord Shall Live, I had their album name "I am that great and fiery force" as my myspace name when I gave them some info and they totally got the reference haha. Im amazed at their musical knowledge.

but seriously, as an interview, dont take the easy road and ask really simple and run of the mill question. really get at them and ask them things they have to take a step back and answer, if you want to get something really memorable

I'm interviewing End of a Year as well because their Rites of Spring and Embrace influences make my heart smile.
Oh sh*t! I love End of a Year. Their split with three fifteen pwns.

Sure. The show is Saturday, but I won't be able to edit them until I get to school, so it'd probably be the first week in September at the latest.

Oh ask them excellent questions!
Please ask them how they feel about the current screamo scene, honestly.

Is it going to be recorded so we can listen to it online, or are you just going to post it in dialogue format?
That'll be pretty cool to say you interviewed CTTS.

I'm recording it, so once I edit it with all of the neat background music, I'll upload it to this thread.
