It was a joke dude. Well, my reply at least.

I like German Chocolate, German Metal bands, and German fuhrline's (i know that isn't spelled right). I dislike German government. SCREW YOU SCHROEDER! (and yes I didn't spell that correctly either)

why? cuz he didn't support the war in Iraq?

and i really like germany and germans, probably the friendliest and nicest nation in europe, and i'll never forget the backing they gave us when we because a fresh new state.....GO GERMANY!!

More to the fact that he promised support and then bailed when France did. That was a **** move AND a party foul.

plus I disagree with the whole "give us 80% of all you owe to pay for someone else" line their government uses. but this isn't the place to talk about German politics, as interesting as they might be.
