Hey i was looking around at the music store and i stumnbled apon the band Coheed and Cambria... i took them home and then i listened to there cd.. its pretty good...... what would u calssify them as.. :band:

yea coheed is very good me and thrice listen to them alot and thrice went to their concert and said it was awesome

cool the only thing that i dont really like about them is the lead singer is really annoying like his voice is to high but yeah they are pretty good and what would u classify them as..

Claudio Sanchez does have a high pitched voice but i think it adds to the music they are classified as like just plain old rock and roll some call them emo but if you read their lyrics they new stuff really isn't

oh cool....... ya im starting to get use to his voice it isnt all that oww pain in your ears anymore..

Yeah they are one of my fav bands. I love them. I saw them live and they were so good. Full of energy.

Coheed and Cambria is absolutely the best (fairly) new band around now. They can in NO way be considered emo, they are concept band working on a 4 album story. Their first record, The Second Stage Turbine Blade is actually the second part of the story, and their second record, In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 is actually part 3. The basic story goes along the lines of Coheed is married to Cambria, and Coheed goes crazy and kills himself and Cambria. Their son, Claudio, has to save the world... it's presumably a creation-type myth, but from what has been revealed so far, it seems to be more of an armaggedon-type story.

i personally do not like them. the lead singer sounds like he just got his balls chopped off and thats the reason i dont like them, too much energy.

ha ha i met the lead singer t the show... he talks that way too...but he was cool as hell.

even though his voice is extremel high (expressed earlyer in this post) if u ever listen to the lyrics..ull get why we think there pretty cool..

its everywhere. they have released heaps of comics about it.
its a lot more technical than that though. coheed kills cambria and four of their kids because he gets injected with a serium that turns him evil, its passed on to him via dragonfly-hence the symbol of a dragonfly. claudio is the last survivor and has to save the universe. theres wars going on, theres intergalatic stuff happening. its a fairly intense story. the information is easy to obtain and its a crazy story. makes them sound like the biggest sci-fi nerds though.
if i had to classify the band, id probably call them prog-rock. great band, im listening to them now actually.

im guessing the comics are in florida(thats what Fl stands for yeah?) as they're in australia. theres not many of them, but they shoudl be around somewhere

the comics should be in FL...since they tour here and all, I dont see why we couldnt get it here...btw just get offline anyway

hahahahaha coliseum probably is better though. oh wow thrice, you were right. the bands he listens too cant even piss on bands like from autumn to ashes or atreyu, and they arent that good anyway.
