Shai Hulud

Just check them out, they are pretty darn good hardcore.

nevermind. found them.

theyre alright. kinda generic in my opinion. the screaming's pretty solid. overall i like them alright.

riseagainstrocks 12-15-2005 01:34 PM

Genric if they were recent. Almost every hardcore band playing today rips them off.

PerFeCTioNThrUSileNCe 12-15-2005 01:54 PM

that is true. when were they formed then?

Fenixpunk 12-15-2005 01:57 PM

late 90s, like 96 or somewhere near there.

PerFeCTioNThrUSileNCe 12-15-2005 02:06 PM

that would be...mid - nineties then. i dont really know..does that mean they're still ripping people off?

riseagainstrocks 12-15-2005 02:06 PM

They came out right before Rise Against I think. Both grew outta the Chicago hardcore scene and unless I'm mistaken both have members from the now defunct 88 Fingers Louie (also a great band).

i'm saying bands rip off Shai Hulud. I'm confused by the way you posed that question

PerFeCTioNThrUSileNCe 12-15-2005 02:15 PM

nevermind then, because i was confused by what you said. ive got a big presentation today and the stress is killing my comprehension skills.

thats kinda neat that both of them have members of an older band.

Fenixpunk 12-15-2005 02:31 PM

The guitarist for New Found Glory used to be their vocalist.
Their drummer used to play drums for Rise Against.

not sure if theyve ever had any members of 88 Fingers Louie (but its hard to tell cuz their lineups always changing)

Wouldn't have thought to see them mentioned here, but yeah, they were a pretty good band.
