Indie is a reference to how well known your label is.
It has nothing to do with the style of music you play.
You can be on an indie label....but play punk music....or rap.
The fact that your label isnt well known doesnt affect your genre of music

Well, I'm basically get thrown back and forth between here and MX for trying to call As Cities Burn and The Fall of Troy metalcore and screamo (respectively), and it just goes to show me that none of you have any clue what you're talking about.

your labeling of a band isn't neccesarily correct. You think Fear Before counts as metalcore I disagree. You think As I Lay Dying is straight up metal, and I again disagree. We all have different backgrounds in music and all are welcome to our own interpretation of said music.
