broken_tears_open_wounds 09-28-2004 08:57 PM

Alright now this isn't all emo emo whatever **** but it's a sad song....
"Chesterfield King" - Jawbreaker
"Home is where you hang yourself" - Every Time I Die
"My dumb emotions" - Distorted Penguins
"Fading" - H2O
Good, good songs...
--You followed me around and picked my heart up off the ground, you made me wanna be a better me, and then you turned your back, as if our time was all an act, I guess there's nothing left for me to see-- *H2O* ~Fading~

The saddest song by 'The Ataris

punkloser1090 10-08-2004 09:28 PM

The Used- On My Own
TBS- Your Own Disaster and New American Classic
Dashboard Confessional- Screaming Infidelities
Finch- Ender
Snow Patrol- Run
Smashing Pumpkins- their cover of Landslide
TSL- A Goodnight's Sleep
Sublime- Santeria

I think all the songs are explanitory...they're sad songs...but the Sublime song...it was my best friend and mine's "song" and then she died in a car accident...so it makes me cry when I hear it.

"No Lies, Just Love" by Bright Eyes

"And I sat watching a flower
As it was withering
I was embarrassed by its honesty
So I'd prefer to be remembered as a smiling face
Not this ****ing wreck
That's taken its place"

it just tears at you, but as the song progresses...

"But spring came bearing sunlight
Those persuasive rays
So I gave myself a few more days"

so it ends on a more hopeful note... it's a good, solid song.
