How to play Emo

I´ve just started my own Emo band and i have to say that it´s a lot of fun

Does annyone konw anny good homepages where u could learn to play The basics for Emo....

Just an idea but why not learn to play music in general first?

Well...

I have played the guitar for 6 years and right now I am studying music in school about 10 Hrs/week + music lessions out side of school

..So now, Can U tell me if u konw some links where i can learn to play Emo or annything that can help my learning process

Just listen to bands you like the sound of, you'll be influenced by them, whether you notice it or not.

if you want to learn to play emo....go to www.mxtabs.net and do a search for some emo band that you have an interest in playing like....and just learn one of their songs. thatll influence you whether you relize it or not.

hey man, i run into the same problems as you becuase im a guitar player too who is trying to write emo music. my advise to you is make you vocals first, if you can write some vocals then you mind can always make some guitar riff or chord progression to go with it, well good luck man. oh question wats you band called?

Yeah here's some steps to create a wonderful emo song.

1. Get a tape recorder
2. Turn it on (Without crying plz)
3. Grab a knife (Dont put it to your wrists just yet)
4. Stab yourself in the kneck
5. Fall to the ground
6. Your song is now complete
