Default Jets To Brazil

My favorite [post]-emo band by far. If you don't own Orange Rhyming Dictionary, go out and by it RIGHT NOW.

So what does everyone else think of them?

Well I wouldn't classify them as emo, but they're okay. Personally, I like Texas is the Reason better. Props to mentioning them though.

Why wouldn't they be classified as emo?

And I'd pick Jets to Brazil over Mineral any day of the week. Their best album Power of Failing (they only had two), is nothing compared to any of JTB's albums.

Jets to Brazil is a pop rock band respectively.

I like mineral's EndSerenading CD. You could say its a little bit slower than Power of Failing, but I've become emotionally attached to it. Plus, it has the song Serenading on it. If you like Mineral, you'll probably like Sunny Day Real Estate's LP2 and Diary CDs.

I've never heard them referred to as a pop-rock band in my life. Only as Emo or Post-Emo.

Whether or not you've heard them called that is irrelevant, they are much closer to pop rock than emo. or post-emo for that matter

May I ask what bands you define as Emo and Post-Emo, then?
