Ninetales, in the same thread:- its not even close to touching any decade since
(Three errors: "its" is used incorrectly --- should be "it's" of course), it also begins the sentence and so should be capitalised and finally there is no full stop/period at the end of the sentence.)

Thrash metal: You bore me if you try to be all fancy with 5 guitar players somehow playing together at the same time or whatever, you have hour-long solos, or you have a singer that could make a decent living as an opera singer, but I like you when you are attached to the name Slayer, when you have a bad singer (an ordinary person), or your heavier instead of faster.
("Your" should of course be "you're" in this instance. I feel a little bad about this, as his grammar is pretty impeccable otherwise.)

(Again, "it's" is used incorrectly and the second "electonic" is misspelled, though in fairness this was obviously just an oversight I would think, and not deliberate bad spelling: it's like "and" and "adn", which happens to be all the time.)

A point: I feel we should cut the guys and girls some slack. I know that like most of us I am deliberately searching for errors, but (and I don't know if you all are also doing this) when I come across them I'm differentiating between what are really bad spelling or grammar infractions and what are obviously the result of either a slipped finger, a natural confusion (also/aslo) and the sort of internet speak used, like lulz, biatch etc.

Agreed. I've only been reporting errors like "it's" for "its", "your" for "you're", and obvious non-typos.

I just caught bob. on more things than I can count in the "If you are bob. come on in" thread.

I try not to be too obnoxious in the forums, but if one makes a mistake, even just a little one, I WILL report it here.

He forgot the commas before "but" and "though". Also, introducing a sentence with "but" and ending it with "though" doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

He forgot the comma/question mark after "darling", and he should have started the sentence with "if".

One for The Bat: in his eagerness to prove me wrong in the "Grammar Veek" thread (I think) he turned off his grammar filter and this was the result:
