Default Looking for bright upbeat quirky music

Hi

I wonder if anyone has any recommendations for music that is something along the lines of Penguin Cafe Orchestra, I'm looking for ideally instrumental (though doesn't have to be) kind of quirky uplifting stuff.
Someone recommended 'you're So Cool' by Hans Zimmer which I thought was pretty good.

Does anyone have any other suggestions? I guess this is not music that fits easily into a particular genre so the algorithms on spotify etc. don't tend to do a great job, even when they do suggest something good it tends to be more downbeat stuff, whereas I'm looking for more like bright and upbeat

I'll be interested to see if anyone has any ideas

thanks

The duo They Might Be Giants are quite quirky, but I don't think that's what you are looking for beings they are a vocal group.

There's a whole bunch of recommendations in this thread, which actually takes Penguin Cafe Orchestra as its starting point, so many of the bands here play "bright, upbeat quirky " music:-

Very quirky and obscure but maybe sort of similar: (I can't post URLs yet so you can find all these at khinsider video game music website.

Track 2 from the game Angel (for PC 98)

"Green Court" Track 6
"Day Walker" Track 7
From the game Angel ♥ Maid Sound Collection
