Music forums are great for letting you know you messed up.

On my first forum, I was looking for the name of the Soundgarden song that had the refrain "Give me the power chow, I'd like to say that I'm down on my knees today." I still have scars from that question.

Outshined. The line is actually "Show me the power child, I'd like to say..."

But in...I don't know 2002 I didn't really think "That doesn't sound right." I just posted it.

"Power Chow" sounds like it could be the name of a breakfast cereal.

Or a brand of dog food.

It’s a breakfast cereal made of cocaine.

I just listened to the song and now I’m convinced that it’s “power chow”.

I don't think this TECHNICALLY counts, but my local music channels used to only play Sweet Child Of Mine by Guns N'Roses. I honestly thought that Guns N'Roses was a one hit wonder band. I heard that Guns N'Roses were one of the most influential rock and roll bands of all time. I thought,"How is Guns N'Roses one of the most influential rock and roll bands of all time? :/ They are a one hit wonder and Sweet Child Of Mine is their only hit! :/ Sweet Child Of Mine is a REALLY good song, but still it's their ONLY hit song. :/ One day, I watched Welcome To The Jungle music video and I thought,"The Welcome To The Jungle Singer is completely ripping off the Sweet Child Of Mine Singer! He ripped off his clothing, his looks, his singing style, his dance style! I hope the Sweet Child Of Mine Singer sues the Welcome To The Jungle Singer!" :/ I went on the music section of a Website ranting about the Welcome To The Jungle Singer ripping off the Sweet Child Of Mine Singer and saying I hoped the Sweet Child Of Mine Singer sues the Welcome To The Jungle Singer!" Posters responded,"The Welcome To The Jungle Singer and the Sweet Child Of Mine Singer are the SAME man, you IDIOT!" And that's how I found out that Guns N'Roses were NOT a one hit wonder.
