You seriously contemplated writing about 2000 albums (twice more than Comus or I) and THEN decided it was too much work? After precisely zero albums? Well at least you gave it a shot. Mind you, for someone who can't even be bothered to write the word "too", I can understand why this would seem so much work. But why did you think you would be able to do it?

I'm actually trying to set up a top 2001 songs thread somewhere down the road but that's taking some work (I only have a top 34 so far ). Anyway, you be you, Norg.

To be fair to Norg, he actually had short reviews of three albums before he put a kabosh to the whole thing.

Well I wouldn't have known that, as they are all deleted now. Still, it proves a point I always hammer into my own mind: if you have an idea, think about it and see if it's worth the work you're going to put into it, and then make sure you have enough material to at least get it going. Personally, I tend to try to put no project up without at least 10 - 30 pages already written. I've opened journals before with great intentions, got bored and had to let them die. If you do that in private, no problem. Do it in public, everyone can see your failure.

I like to picture Norg posting while sitting in an inner tube lazily drifting down a river.
