I read the name and for some reason, the first group that came in to mind was Big & Rich

Another "big" band that never made it big...

Big Dipper - Ron Klaus Wrecked His House

Big Dipper - All Going Out Together

They seemed to have everything going for them in the late 80's and I even recall seeing an article on them in Time or Newsweek (can't remember which) touting them as the next "big" thing to come out of the college radio circuit, heading towards stardom. They were one of the tightest bands I've ever seen perform live and they had some memorable songs but they never did end up getting much notice beyond the college radio crowd.

When I think of Big Country, I also think of Saga. They both only had one hit in the 80's around here.

I like that Big Country's most popular hit song is called Big Country!

That's unfair. It was actually titled "In a Big Country"

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Heck yeah. Good choice.

Also, if the singer from Snot hadn't ****ed him and his dog up, they'd have put out some more goodness.
