Post Punk and other styles like it
Hi, I am a new member on this site. I was looking for a place where one could share music as well as find new music. Specifically music that is more international; music that is in another language, different country, etc. I am hoping this site will cure my craving to connect with others over international musical artists. Finding it a hard time to find anyone in my own country that is interested in this. For my first thread I'd like to focus on a genre known as Post-Punk and sounds similar to the style; Darkwave, Gothic, doomer, etc. I will be posting YouTube links to some from my own collection. I hope others can share as well what they have found. No matter the country or language. I will post more if there is actual interest.
Spoiler for too many videos for one post:

welcome! you'll find plenty of love for both post-punk and all kinds of international music here. Have you found this youtube channels called Harakiri Diat and Dronemf S? They post a lot of music that you'd probably be into. Here's a favourite of mine

How much is the preferred non crashing amount? nonetheless, yea some of these are a bit far from Post Punk I just mostly wanted to hit the same vein around the genre in a wide international sense. As just saying I want international music is too wide of a topic. Feel free to post and share stuff though!!! I am curious on what you have managed to collect into your collection.

Oh yeah I like that crunch; a band where the bass guitar stands out. thanks for the share!!!

Sharing some more stuff!!!! Won't be sharing as much as someone noted my last one had too much and crashed.

No problem! I'd say as a rule of thumb if I post more than 3 videos in at once I'll put them in spoilers. I don't exactly know where to draw the line though.
The spoiler option can be accessed in the menu bar just above the text typing section if you choose the 'go advanced' option when writing a post |
I can think of some bands. Here are five, in no particular order.
Bloc party Interpol Japandroids Airborne toxic event Catfish and the bottlemen |
Yeah I listen to a lot of Roman Sidrov's stuff. RIP Roman. I love his stuff, he's managed to through just sound to express upon the ear this overwhelming depressive feeling. The lyrics of most of his stuff isn't all that depressing but the tones in his songs are just so perfectly saddening. What he has managed to pull off is as powerfully projecting as some of Beethoven's stuff. Just that way they both know how to elicit feeling without a word said; phenomenal.

Some more music of the ilk
