Default Karice's Music Corner! :D

I think I should have my own Music Corner in order to prevent resentment....

I am sorry. I started a thread claiming that YouTube made a mistake music wise by recommending me a video that reads,"AC DC Back In Black in the thumbnail and throughout the video when it was actually Hell's Bells. I then did research and found out Back In Black is the Album name. I clicked on my thread to admit my mistake, I only got one reply saying something like,"WTF?" And making a confused face. I then found out that thread is closed. I really should have done my research BEFORE making that I'll thought out thread....

You should probably create this thread in the Members Journal section

A Journal is more of a "What I did today," than a Corner where I talk about my music thoughts.

That's an understandable mistake. By the way, we got off on the wrong foot with your fanfic threads, so let me extend the olive branch. Sorry if I got a little heated.

Anyway, a music journal is where you can record your thoughts on any band, artist or number of same, albums, styles, or actually anything you like. I have ones on Prince, classical music, country music and then ones on history like the history of Ireland, England, the USA, the Old West, the Devil, Serial killers, vampires... it can be literally anything. And the best part is, it's yours to do with as you like. So SGR is correct, that the best place to put a thread in which you intend to write about your own favourite music or whatever is definitely the journals section, though you're not by any means obliged to do so. The only thing is that if you open a thread here, unless you update it a lot, it's probably going to end up being pushed off the page by other threads. That may happen in the journal section too (especially with all the journals I write!) but it is a better place to be.

Up to you of course.

Apology and olive branch accepted.. I was planning to make my fourth thread my last Fan Fiction related thread on this section anyways!

I listened to Hell's Bells by AC/DC and I find the implication they hope Bon Scott landed in Hell after his death disturbing... :/ But then again, these are the same People who themselves implied they want to go to Hell after their deaths..... :/

I find that AC/DC is more enjoyable if you don't analyze the lyrics.

Not one of my favorite bands either - but their music has a time and place (think summer barbecues/cookouts, beer in tow, with a large percentage of 40-60 year old white people).

Their live album though, If You Want Blood, You've Got It is a kickass album - better than any of their studio albums pretty easily.

And yes, I prefer Bon Scott - but there's not a huge difference between him and Johnson - Scott had a slightly better voice and seemed to have more energy.
