I wasn't big on AC/DC either, especially since their fans at the time of their heyday were contemptuous of the bands I liked. One smart mouth screamed that Bowie sucks when he passed me once (I was wearing a Bowie T-shirt).
But as the years have passed, I've come to appreciate AC/DC as a really good hard rock band. Yeah, I'm a little more partial to the Bon Scott years. Also interesting that Angus and George Young were childhood friends with Harry Vanda of Easybeats fame. Needless to say the Easybeats sound nothing like AC/DC. |

A friend who worships their memory added a large extention to his new house to keep all his AC/DC memorabilia. No doubt when his estate is finally wound up his collection will fetch a fortune. Even the half size AC/DC pool table. |

I was really into AC/DC as a teen. I had a lull after Razor's Edge came out. Then I saw Empire Records, and went back to them. You always know what you're getting with them. It's like nobody wanted them to change or evolve. They do what they do, and everyone (well almost everyone) loves it.

Who Made Who was the first album I owned from them. That would've been somewhere in the late 80s. I was surprised to learn that it was a soundtrack to a Stephen King movie. I still haven't seen the movie (Maximum Overdrive).

Not technically a music post, but it is about a Singer. In 1993, Guns N'Roses was being sued by Steven Adler after they fired him for being a heavy drug addict. He sued for back pay and Royalties. Right before the Court Hearing, Axl walks BEHIND his Bodyguard.... I found this strange. Shouldn't the Client be in FRONT of the Bodyguard? :/
