Default Trouble for letting your Musical Mentor (s) record album (s) for you? :/

In my Fictional Axl Rose story, Claven Records (also Fictional, forced Axl to make my Fictional band, Cake Cream make their Sophomore Album just a couple of days after their Debut Album and after they did a show at The Marriott Hotel. Axl protested this as they were tired after their Debut Album and The Marriott Show and didn't want to make the Sophomore Album that day. Claven Records continued to push The Sophomore Album. Axl finally was like,"Okay, Claven Records, you win. Cake Cream will do The Sophomore Album today." Claven Records was satisfied.

Axl asked Current Guns N'Roses to record Tasty Cake, the Sophomore Album and they agreed to do it as a favor for Axl and Cake Cream. Axl wrote 10 songs for Tasty Cake and Current Guns N'Roses actually recorded it and Cake Cream and Axl turned it as if they themselves actually recorded it. Of course Fans thought Tasty Cake sounded good, but off, as if a Cake Cream Cover Band actually recorded Tasty Cake. Even Claven Records admitted Tasty Cake sounded off. Current Guns N'Roses just doesn't sound all that much like Cake Cream. How much trouble could a Band get for getting their Mentor(s) to record an Album (s) for them in real life? :/

I thought about Milli Vanilli, but in my story, the general Public knew that Axl Rose was Cake Cream's Manager and Mentor and that Current Guns N'Roses were fond of Cake Cream. With Milli Vanilli, the general Public had NO idea who the real Singers and Musicians of Milli Vanilli were until Rob and Fab were busted when the CD they were lipsynching too skipped suddenly.

Look, I don't mean to be rude but can you please stop flooding the forum with your fanfic? At least put it where it belongs, in the Artists' Corner?

You've now got FOUR threads recently started, all concerning your Guns'n'Roses fan fiction. If you want to write about them that's fine, but please stop taking over the General Music thread with it. it's quite annoying.

Thanks.

Hey, give the guy a break. He's just trying to figure out how to write his book.

As for Milli Vanilli, there was suspicion that they were lip synching before the record skip incident but there had been no proof, until that incident, of course.

he can write his book, as I said I have no problem with that. Just do it in the right place. There's a sub forum for writing, poetry, lyrics and stuff like this. Every day for the last three or more I've been coming here seeing a new thread started by Karice, every single one of them to do with fanfic. I'm not saying this isn't the forum to post fanfic, but the General Music thread is definitely not the place to put it. All of these threads are couched as questions but are nothing more than a pretty transparent excuse to talk about his writing. What I think of that writing has nothing to do with anything; this isn't the place for it, not in my opinion, and even if it is, four threads on essentially the same topic makes me wonder why at the very least they haven't been merged if not moved.

I planned for this Thread to be my last Thread asking questions about my Fanfic anyways. I just wanted to know what would happen in real life if my Fanfic happened in the real world..

What's the lead single from Tasty Cake?

Sweet Slice O' Mine? Knockin' On The Baker's Door?

Don't Dry? You Could Be Lime?
