Commercials and Cues
New to writing for commercials;
A few questions: Do you master ALL of your 8 bar and 16 bar cues or do you wait until someone is interested in the track? How do you organize your cues? Do you upload them to a P.R.O. (ASCAP, BMI etc) or do you keep them in another location? If you do not upload them a P.R.O. what platform do you use to pitch them? Sorry for the ignorance; i've heard two different approaches. Thank you in advance. |

I haven't sold jingles / commercials, but if I was going to, I probably would have done so on fiverr.
But ASCAP f.ex. might be smarter or better? I don't really know, but you can probably do both or several if you feel like you don't get enough work.
