I'm good with that. I'm paying more attention to the Survivor thread anyway these days.

Okay I assume Lisna is also okay with it, SGR seems very busy so let's take it that unless someone has a major objection to it we'll put up the shutters till Jan and then pick it up again with my album, giving everyone a chance to ignore it all over again. I'll put a note in the OP.

Actually the break could be good. We might generate some renewed interest after a hiatus.

Sorry for the delay, yeah, I'm good with taking a break. I'm going to write up my reviews for the last 2 albums in the meantime.

I've been busy as well and I'm sure we'll all get busier with the coming holiday season. Besides my busy-ness, football has been a distraction too. I've been routinely rotting my brain with dumb sports talk shows lately instead of filling my head with lovely new music.

I think it was originally my proposition to make it two weeks, instead of a month. So I guess I'll eat crow and admit Trollheart was right. But hey, we kept it going pretty good for a while, didn't we?

Okay guys. Christmas trees unplugged and either put away for next year or dumped in the neighbour's yard or whatever you do with them, Christmas decorations back in the attic, New Year rung in... it's time to get back to this.

Can we pick it up for Monday please and see if we can get back on track, assuming everyone/anyone is still interested?

Let's do it!! I'm in if everyone else is ready again. I'll get my other two reviews up this coming week. Sorry, I got distracted by football, but I'll get them written up.

I'm getting distracted by some other things (I might be doing my own 1001 bit soon). But, yeah, I'm in.

Cool. In case anyone's forgotten, this is the one we were on before the break.

Yep, I think it's a nice idea to restart this club. As well as your mention of The Donkeys' album, TH, I'd like to add a couple of "Previously On MB Album Club" reminders:

Firstly, some "Done and Dusted" albums which perhaps you could add into the list in your OP, Trollheart:-

Tones Of Home: MarieMonday: 6 (#501)
Protection: SGR: 7.2 (#540)
Sackcloth And Ashes: Carpe Mortem: 8.6 (#572)

Only 4 people reviewed Carpe's album, so if anyone feels inclined, they could post a review of that one, I should think. (Ahem, Carpe: you haven't reviewed your own nomination.)

Alas, I fear we may run into membership probs as I haven't seen music_collector for ages
Also, Dr.Rezz and Mindfulness kind of put their heads in at the door of the clubhouse, but have disappeared into the night....
