THE MAIN EVENT OF UGLY THINGS 30TH ANNIVERSARY WEEKENDER NIGHT #3!! Mike Stax introducing Benedict Arnold & The Traitors. They are a tribute band to Paul Revere and The Raiders featuring Mark Lindsay. Their Opening song is called "Stepping Out".
Mark Lindsay makes a surprise appearance on stage for Benedict Arnold & The Traitors. He is a garage rock pioneer and a legend! He sings "Louie Louie". This is the 50th year anniversary of this song! Mark Lindsay recorded this song with Paul Revere And The Raiders within days of The Kingsmen recording their version in the same studio. Many people hated rock and roll making the Raiders version banned from radio but giving The Kingsmen version their big hit. This chart failure led to their climbing success, having their own TV show, 3 gold LPs in 1966, Vox Guitar and Amp endorsements and major touring. He also sings "Just Like Me" and "Kicks".
