The Staunton Lick by Lemon Jelly starts so simply and before you know it, it's put you in a good humour - so yeah, a gentle way to wake up and face the rigors of the day:-

I know in your intro thread, you noted you're a fan of house music. The best way to experience house music, in my humble opinion, is at a live show or, listening to a set/mix online. House music always makes me happy and/or grateful for the day (house sets/mixes had a bit of a renaissance in 2020 in the online/upload space since DJs weren't able to do live shows anymore). I think the best recent example of incredibly well produced/mixed house music is KREAM's Liquid Lab series, which I've tried to proselytize on this site before to little success. All their six mixes in this series are just great, but this one might be the best. If you've never heard it before, peep it, and I guarantee you'll dig it. Edit: These guys are from Norway - not far from you apparently. |
