• Aerosmith is christ awful. I like maybe 3 songs.
• Boston, J. Giles, and the Cars are great but I think of them as 70's bands, and what did come out in the 80s, iirc sucked. Like "Drive" and "Amanda."
• The Lemonheads are fine. The version of Shame About Ray from Letterman is way better than the album version.
• MtB and the Hardcore bands, can't say I've heard them.
• Did Til Tuesday have Aimee Mann? Love her.

Also I guess I should add, their being from Boston doesn't make me like the music any more.

I like the idea of trying to chronicle the Boston scene in the 1980s and never mentioning Pixies. A brave choice.

See that's a band I'd give you. Pixies are solid and a source of Bostonian pride. And Frank Black is the right amount of Piece of ****.
