The Beatles' young fangirls form a huge community which is growing every year, and as I'm part of it, I can assure you that it's impossible to have someone like Paul McCartney in your band and listen to what you're playing.

Lmao I'm pretty sure the Beatles fangirls I'm referring to are dying in droves because of covid if they made it this far.

No, you don't need to be from a specific generation to scream while The Beatles are playing, it doesn't matter if you've not been there, youtube videos are enough for us to scream, too.

I'm just gonna paste the answer I gave you on another thread:
I never ever, take these things seriously, I think maybe my horrible English makes people think I'm upset all the time, but bloody hell I laugh while I'm replying, I've never been obssesed with anyone (a little bit with Clapton and Plant, perhaps, but I'd never feel superior to anyone who hates them). The only thing that really upsets me in a thread is when someone calls me a "poser", feels superior or thinks that he's the real fan of a certain artist just because I'm younger than him/her. I never pretend that I love the music of someone that I don't know very well. If I say that I, for example, love The Beatles, it's because I've listened a lot to them and I know what I'm talking about, if you think only teens from the 60s have the right to know them, I don't care, I'll just go and enjoy listening to Rubber Soul or Revolver again.
Have a good day!
Keep your knickers on! I wasn't talking about you...

Octopus's Garden is perhaps the greatest song ever written. Chad, of course, wrote it. Any criticism of OG (or Chad) is doomed to fail from the start because Chad.

(though perhaps not if you're only fourteen...)

Dear god you scream at YouTube? I mean, I scream at my computer screen too, but usually only after the third "fatal error Windows will now reboot" message.

1. I didn't understand that. You were replying to my message. Who were you talkin to then??
2. Obviously Octopus's Garden is the greatest song ever. Thank you, Richard Starkey.
3. I've never even tried Coca-Cola or Pepsi.
4. I obviously do. Do you think that it's possible to watch A Hard Day's Night without screaming?

I mean, let's be honest: they were a pretty average rock band who just managed to come to the public notice at a time when their kind of music was becoming wildly popular, and they rode that for years. Listen to them now, how different are they?

The worst though are the youngsters, the ones only discovering the Beatles now and going around as if they personally have discovered them and now everything else sucks.
you can like or dislike the beatles for various valid reasons, but calling them a pretty average band is just a self diss. smh

Yeah, I think that, too, but I wasn't alive during their time, so I can't really imagine how important they were, I only know that I love them a lot.

About, not to. I was talking TO you, but not ABOUT you. In other words, I wasn't accusing you of being one of these kids who go all gooey about the Beatles as if they discovered them personally.

I assure you it is. Very much so.
