The only thing that sucks about Genesis is the fact that Invisible Touch has been extremely overplayed by Spanish radio stations. More than Stairway To Heaven? Yes. More than Bohemian Rhapsody? Yes.
EDIT: You're lucky, no one's said anything negative 'bout Genesis! I mean the "why Eric Clapton sucks" thread is full of coments.

It's pretty poor, but Abacab will always be at the bottom for me.

I will say Genesis are in my top ten, around 4th place, or maybe Firth of 5th place. So anyways I belong to this supposedly "music" forum and I can't believe that I get hassled over Genesis by some guy who "claims" to be the number Genesis fan on the site. Doesn't make sense. If I mention a certain album he starts crying like the Squonk. What sucks about Genesis are their fans.

Like I said before, you can be a fanboy or fangirl of any artist and still not like one or two of their albums. I don't like Abacab. Sue me. The average settlement is ten thousand dollars.

If your favourite band had been The Doors (I sort of like them but not very much), then I wouldn't mind if people said negative things about them.
But it's Genesis, come on! Clapton was God but Steve Hackett was near, together with Gilmour and others...It hurts to read negative things about Genesis!:(:(
Why?

Well you have to understand these are all made in fun; nobody's supposed to take this that seriously, and if they do, that's their problem. I've lived for years with people dissing my musical taste; it just rolls off my back now. And it's fun anywyay.

I never, ever, take these things seriously, I think maybe my horrible English makes people think I'm upset all the time, but bloody hell I laugh while I'm replying, I've never been obssesed with anyone (a little bit with Clapton and Plant, perhaps, but I'd never feel superior to anyone who hates them). The only thing that really upsets me in a thread is when someone calls me a "poser", feels superior or thinks that he's the real fan of a certain artist just because I'm younger than him/her. I never pretend that I love the music of someone that I don't know very well. If I say that I, for example, love The Beatles, it's because I've listened a lot to them and I know what I'm talking about, if you think only teens from the 60s have the right to know them, I don't care, I'll just go and enjoy listening to Rubber Soul or Revolver again. ;)
