My fave www.secondhandsongs.com - a huge comprehensive database of cover songs. Its great when you know who covered the song but, need to know who wrote the original, or how many times a song has been covered & who by. It also includes songs that have been sampled. |

i usually end up checking out label sites like:
www.alternativetentacles.com www.havocrex.com www.cahrecords.com www.profaneexistence.com www.aversionline.com is a good online zine www.contempl8.net good place to get political shirts/stickers/etc.. www.crimethinc.com - good source for "revolutionary" news when i cant think of the name of a band, but know the song, or just want to check out some unknowns ill try www.interpunk.com and of course myspace is a good way to find local bands, i especially like the way you can search by band name, genre, country, state, etc. |
www.purevolume.com
Only bin there a couple of times but is handy for all your underground bands. |
www.discographyguide.com - not as comprehensive as i'd like, but still quite a help in a pinch
www.archive.org - the most resourceful site on the net. Iv'e found stuff on here I would never be able to find anywhere else. Audio, movies live concert footage. check it out, its awesome !!!!!! |
