Supergrass was my favourite of the bunch. Now mostly just remembered for Alright, but they had a couple good albums, particularly a fun debut.

Came across this interesting vid today about the musical influences in and around Manchester.
Never heard of a lot of these bands like A Guy Called Gerald, A Certain Ratio, Orange Juice or James Chance & The Contortions, which sound brilliant.
