This is what I love about Music Banter. Four pages in on a thread about what music you hate, and we're discussing whether or not Stalin, a Georgian, was White. What other discussion forum can you get this level of intellectual veracity from?

No. I was contrasting it to American views and it makes sense to invoke the name of the country in that case.
Also stop whitesplaining things to me, I live here after all. Check your privilege.

Hitler wasn't really elected. Hitler was appointed Chancellor by Hindenburg in 1933. The German Legislature then passed the enabling act of 1933 , which essentially allowed Hitler (as Chancellor) to take and exercise dictatorial power.

The Nazis were still elected to a majority in the legislature.

Norg was confused about Stalin. I can't stop laughing to think that Norg said something in his own confusion and that somehow represents the "American view."

I made a joke about the gif. Photographs and film are "sepia," not people. As far as I know, there is no group of people claiming to be a "sepia." That coupled with the fact that I'm talking about a historical figure that purportedly to have killed 20 million people had erroneously lead me to believe what I said would be ignored. ... and now all of this.

I don't see what Norg and I said in either post that exemplifies this "American view." America is filled with many people with many views, I never came to the conclusion which is the "official" view, and I don't see any connection to ...

Ja, ja. That is what I am going for, for you to say the name of the country, "Nazi Germany."

Not really, no.
I try to keep an open mind.
Being creative works way better that way.
