This is not to say that I myself don't like any of the music in the above categories. Quite frankly I would like to listen to a Scottish Highlander bagpipe marathon for 48 hours over just five minutes of rap. I have a ton of classical music and organ music and some harpsichord music. I forgot to mention country-western as a genre that I don't like too much. I'm averse to the yokel Southern twang culture. I like some folk songs though. I once played the Saint-Saëns"Carnival of the Animals" record at the school library listening post in the 6th grade and some other children thought it sucked. There was the opening movement of the lion, Royal March of the Lion with peculiar strings and piano tones.

This song is less than five minutes. Method Man - Judgement Day I couldn't find 48 hours of bagpipes on YouTube - time limits I guess, but you can always hit the repeat button. Bagpipes Scottish Instrumental Music 10 Hours

The middle-east doesn't tend to like rock and roll. "The sharif don't like it... rock the casbah, rock the casbah." People of the West: America, Britain and Europe, especially western Europe They talk about the "Latin" ethnicty but "Latins" (romance-language speakers) are western Europeans. There is nothing particular "Latin" about the music of Couperin or Vivaldi. Spain is still a western European nation. |

The West starts with ancient Greece and Rome. It's generally white. It doesn't include Russia or the middle east. It should include Spain and all Spanish-speaking nations of the New World to boot. There is this Latin American cultural divide. Latin American music still uses western harmony.
