Kind of. It’s an underrated record though.

Saying you don’t like the Stones is to me a lot like saying you don’t like The Clash. As an opinion or a statement of fact about what you enjoy or whatever I’m incredulous. You might as well tell me you think two plus two equals five.

I'm not a huge Stones fan but Gimmie Shelter is an exception and I'd say there are probably only 10-20 songs ever in the whole world I'd say are better than it so this one is no contest.

Gimme Shelter, for that narcotic tremolo guitar/guiro intro which I could listen to forever; and for Merry Clayton taking flight on vocals pregnant and in curlers in the middle of the night – that “crack” at 2:33! Pretty amazing.
